These terms apply to your use of dcnorthamerica.org. Please read them — by using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

This website is operated by Dominion City Church Georgia ("we", "us", "our"), a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organisation (EIN 26-4600482), 300 Pinnacle Way, Norcross, GA 30071, United States. You can reach us at admin@dcgeorgia.org.

What this site is

This site is a directory. It lists Dominion City churches across North America so that visitors can find the one nearest them, and it promotes network-wide events such as Camp Meeting and the Winter Retreat.

The churches listed are independently operated. We publish their details as a convenience; we do not control their services, their premises, their staff, their websites or their social media. Any dealings you have with an individual church are between you and that church.

Accuracy of the directory

We make a genuine effort to keep addresses, links and event details accurate, and each church's details are supplied by that church. Even so, churches move, meeting times change and venues are sometimes hired for a season. We cannot guarantee that every listing is current. Before travelling to a church for the first time, we strongly recommend confirming the location and service time with that church directly through the link on its card.

Directions links open Google Maps, a third-party service. Route information, travel times and map data are Google's, not ours.

Use of the site

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the site for the purpose of finding a church, learning about the ministry and viewing event information. You agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that harms or harasses anyone;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract the directory or campus contact details for marketing, resale or any commercial purpose;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
• introduce malware or any other harmful code;
• copy, frame or mirror the site or present it as your own.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — including text, layout, photography, graphics and the Dominion City name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not use the Dominion City name, logo or branding without our written permission.

You are welcome to link to this site, and to share individual church listings, provided you do so accurately and without suggesting an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Events

Information about Camp Meeting, the Winter Retreat and other events is provided for convenience. Registration, venue details, schedules and guest ministers are managed on the relevant event website, and those pages govern. Event details are subject to change, and publishing them here is not a guarantee that an event will take place as described.

Third-party links

This site exists largely to link you onward — to individual churches' websites and social media pages, to our event sites, and to Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or practices of any third-party site, and including a link does not imply we endorse everything on it. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.

No giving or payments here

This website does not accept donations, tithes, offerings or payments of any kind, and it has no forms through which to submit them. If you wish to give, do so through the individual church's own channels. Be alert to anyone claiming to collect money on this website's behalf — treat that as fraudulent and let us know.

Disclaimers

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any listing is complete or current.

Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind — legal, medical, financial or otherwise.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the site — including any reliance on a listing that turned out to be out of date.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dominion City Church Georgia and its officers, trustees, staff and volunteers from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Use by minors

This site is directed at adults and parents. It collects no personal information from anyone and has no forms, accounts or submissions. Children are welcome to read it, and parents remain responsible for supervising their children's use of the internet. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle children's privacy.

Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Changes

We may change the site, the directory, or these terms at any time. When we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing anything, we would ask you to contact us at admin@dcgeorgia.org so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Most things can be sorted out with a conversation.

General

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or transfer of the ministry's operations.
